Have you ever smelled a familiar scent, or come across a forgotten object in your house and have been transported back to a specific moment in time? Or maybe you were reminded of someone special in your life? I've recently had that moment while I was putting the lid on one of my Yankee Candle jars. (Bear with me, I know this sounds odd.) But, the act of putting that lid on brought me back a few years to my senior year of college and I instantly remembered the man who was with me the first time I learned about "the lid trick". Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", starring Jim Carey and Kate Winslet (amongst a list of other big names), I recommend you watch it! It's amazing and I'm sure Carey's character has a lot of "lid trick" moments in the film ^_^.
